Haha, I have the feeling that Oppo wouldn't like extended swingarms and chrome rims on a sportbile.

Depends on where you'll use it I'll say.. In Norway a longer bike would be SHAIT.. but then again, a 250 enduro or similar would be better here. I Still love them modified "racers" though :)

How would something like that handle with the long swing arm and fat tire. I'd imagine It would destroy the nimbleness and handling and turn it into basically a straight line bike?

I like everything but the rims.

Awful. It's the performance-killing two wheeled equivalent of STANCE BRO and I hates it.

That's what I figured. When I ride a bike I like to flick it around not have to muscle through every movement. I learned to ride on a GS500E so I like light and nimble.

Same, After a first glance it looks fine. But when you get up close in the pictures, it's kinda uugghhhhh.

How about without the chrome wheels?

I dont like the stretch or chrome, but man, ever since the Diavel came out I have wanted to swap its big meaty wheel and SSSA onto a little Monster. Would be SICK. I do have a weakness for fat rear tires on bikes. I cannot lie.

Haha, I'd like to see the same bike without the chrome and see how I like that.

The Diavel is interesting to say the least, I used to really want one. But it's just so "undefined" imo. Like it's a sportbike, but it's not. Then it' s crusier, but it's not. It's kind of in a class of it's own.

Downshift83 got one recently, and it seems pretty damn quick and a good chance of pace than other bikes. But I'd really have to ride one to tell if I really liked it or not.

They're also pretty pricey, I'd have an 899 Panigale for that price. The Diavel is $18,000 or something like that, and the Panigale is about $15,000 I think.

Full on sportbikes are overrated. I am not a fan of the Diavel's long wheelbase, but then a 240 section rear tire will also slow the steering significantly. My picks of the Ducati range are the 848SF and the new Monster 821. Comfy (aside from the footpegs), and ~120-130RWHP is pretty much ideal for the street. Next bike is gonna be a poor man's version of those most likely (VTR1000F or SV1000)

I've always liked the styling of the monster. But I'm a bigger fan of fully faired bikes, I'd probably have to stay with the Japanese for my next bike though. Ducati bikes are just a little too expensive for me, even if they are used.
